J. Peter Dooley of Clifton Park has been named manager of the Goodyear Auto Service Center, 206 Central Ave., Albany. Dooley is a native of Albany and a graduate of Siena College and has been in the tire business for 26 years. He was formerly associated with Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. as store manager.

Paul Gutman, vice president of operations for Bennett Contracting Inc., has been appointed to the Board of Directors of the Empire State Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors, an organization with 18,000 members nationwide.

Teresa Gustas of Catskill has been appointed administrator of the Eden Park Nursing Home in Hudson. Prior to joining Eden Park, Gustas was administrator of Childs Nursing Home in Albany. Gustas is a graduate of Amsterdam High School and St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Amsterdam and holds a bachelor's degree from the College of Saint Rose and a master's degree from Russell Sage College.

Trustco Bank has announced the promotion of Diana Calyer of Schenectady to manager of community relations. Calyer has been with Trustco since the fall of 1988 and was associated previously with WMHT, Albany, and Wells Fargo Bank, Pasadena, Calif.

Corporate Graphics Resource Inc. of Albany has announced the appointment of Daniel F. Connor and Michael L. Colucci as computer graphic artists. Connor is a native of East Greenbush and holds a master's degree from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Colucci is a native of Saratoga Springs and holds a bachelor's degree from RIT.

Rita Nolan has been promoted to manager of Corr & Co., an accounting firm in Latham. Nolan is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor's degree from McGill University and a master's degree from the State University at Albany. She was formerly with Coopers & Lybrand.

Norstar Bank of Upstate NY has announced the promotion of Karen L. Carty of Albany to funding officer and wire transfer manager, and James F. Yando of Glens Falls to manager of the Greenville office. Carty is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and has been with the bank since 1986. Yando is a graduate of St. Bonaventure University and completed Fleet/Norstar's Supervisory Management Training Program, beginning his career with the bank as a banch management trainee in 1986.

J.W. Pfeil & Co., a real estate brokerage and marketing firm, has hired Jeanette A. Bowman of Troy as office manager of its new Troy branch office at 13 First St.

Kelly Lounsberry of Albany has been appointed assistant vice president of human resources at Leonard Hospital. She began her employment at Leonard in June 1987 and served as assistant director and director of human resources. Lounsberry has a bachelor's degree and an MBA from the State University at Albany.

Hanlon, employees of the Farm Family Insurance Cos. headquartered in Albany, have been honored for their contributions to this year's Junior Achievement/Project Business program. Hemmes is a computer programmer and Hanlon is a pension analyst. They were awarded plaques for their efforts as business consultants for students in the Bethlehem/Delmar area.

OurTown Television Productions Ltd. has announced the appointment of June Bonilla and Jill Goldstein as account executives in the sales department. Both Bonilla and Goldstein are residents of Albany.

Lee Borland president of Comsec Security and Fire Systems of Lake Placid and Latham has been elected to the National Advisory Board of Security Alliance/Security Associates Inc., headquartered in Des Plaines, Ill.

The Capital Region Chapter of the American Institute of Banking Inc. has awarded diplomas to the following people for completion of National Banking Education Programs offered through the American Bankers Association. General Banking Diplomas for 18 credit hours were awarded to: Lynn Canini, Matilda Lippiello and Carlos Markessinis of Home and City Savings Bank; Kimberly Gardner of Evergreen Bank; Leone L. Gentner of Dime Savings Bank; Susan Haag of Hudson City Savings Institution; and Laurie Snay of Key Bank NA.

A Consumer Credit Diploma for 25 credit hours was awarded to Betsy Schultheis of Chase Lincoln.

Commercial Lending Diploma recipients for 25 credit hours were Brian Bordan of Home and City and Diane Heppelle and Joan O'Sullivan of Key Bank.

A Mortgage Lending Diploma for 25 credit hours was awarded to Michael MacKay of Home and City.

WAMC Public Radio Network has announced the promotion of four senior staff members. David Galletly, named assistant executive director for programming and station relations, was station manager. Kathleen Taylor has been promoted to assistant executive director for administration from associate station manager for administration. Judah Nussbaum, formerly chief engineer, will now serve as assistant executive director for engineering. Don Decker is assistant executive director for news, formerly associate station manager for news.

Mark C. Johnson has been named executive director of the Silver Bay Association, the YMCA Christian conference center on Lake George. Johnson left a position as executive director of the University of Illinois and was previously associate executive director for programs at the Silver Bay Association and the assistant director of the University Christian Center in Beirut, Lebanon. Johnson will lead a year- round staff of 26, as well as a summer staff of more than 200.

The Health Systems Agency of Northeastern New York Inc. has elected four new members to serve on its Board of Directors for three-year terms. Dr. William Grattan of Albany is commissioner of the Albany County Department of Health and past president and current chairman of the Legislative Committee of the State Association of County Health Officials. Evelyn Williams of Albany is executive director of the Whitney Young Junior Health Care Center. Jesse Nixon of Delmar is chief executive officer of the Capital District Psychiatric Center. Charlotte Buchanan of Loudonville is an attorney for the firm of McNamee, Lochner, Titus and Williams, P.C. and a director of the Center for Economic Growth.

Two appointments have been announced by Albright Kresge Inc., Colvin Avenue, Albany. David Leafer will serve as staff appraiser. Leafer comes to the firm from Hartmann Appraisal Associates in Latham, where he served as office manager and review appraiser. Jacqueline Conti has been appointed staff appraiser. Conti was formerly with Brown, MAI and Associates in Houston, Texas, where she was an appraiser of commercial properties.

The Michaels Group has named Eric Johnson of Saratoga Springs director of its semi-custom home group and James Chandler of Clifton Park purchasing officer. Johnson joined Michaels in 1981 and has served as director of purchasing and property management. Chandler a graduate of Colorado State University has been with the Michaels Group for three years.

Robert Peterson of Albany has joined the New School of Contemporary Radio.
